The fully paid for version requires you run Software Update after installing FCP X and Motion 5 to get that content.

I have several folders inside the Final Cut Sound Effects folders (non trial FCP X). I recall that after installing FCP X I needed to run Software Update (from the Apple Menu) to download some content. I don't remember if that included these sound effects. Worth a try for you.

Thomas, thanks to you and BenB. Since I don't even have a Final Cut Sound Effects Folder (except the empty ones that show up in the FCPX window, but not in the finder) I think they just don't include them in the Trial version. I ran Software Update just to make sure and it couldn"t find anything to update. Everything else works ok, so no big deal. Once again, thanks for the input.

Hey, it is a "free trial" version, and most of those are not full featured in any app.

Yeah, I'm not compalining. I'm getting a good look at the program and getting a chance to test it out is great. A lot of companies cripple their trial software which really limits what you can find out. So Kudos to Apple for a full featured Trial.
