I am getting the "modified asset warning" in IDVD -

my project has many submenus that I worked on for a long time. Is there any way to workaround the "update" function, as it screws up all my chapter markers? I'd hate to redo everything :/

I saw a post stating there was a workaround, but no details. thanks for any help!
