any USB game pad should do the trick , try borow a game pad from a friend , or you may alraydy have one ??

plug into usb port and let see what hapend ?? some game software alraydy have game pad control built-in 🙂 , but in some case you need add a control software for game pad , aka http://itunes.apple.com/fr/app/gamepad-companion/id428799479?mt=12

There are some gamepads that say on the package that they are Mac-compatible.

I've used several of the mentioned Logitech Gamepads and they work great for me on all my Macs, good fun too when loading up some old emulators and playing classic video games..

One other tip, when searching for a gamepad you can always just ask in-store staff or have a look on the marketing box for the system requirements, most controllers these days from reputible companies will list if they are Mac OS compatible.

I can support Pierres suggestion too, i've tried that app and it works great.

I haven't tested LEGO Harry Potter yet. Controller support in LEGO Star Wars Saga is excellent, but that doesn't mean it works for Harry Potter. See MacGamepads for controller compatibility and support. Please let email me if you have a chance to test LEGO Harry Potter with a gamepad.
