On my new iPad my location is out by a block. How can I correct this?
Your iPad uses nearby WiFi hotspots to get your location information.
If you have the WiFi only iPad you can't change it. That's completely normal.
The Location Services is only an approximation, it wasn't designed to be an exact pinpoint. I don't think you can manually change the address or anything like that if that's what you meant?
Thanks for this. Sounds a bit odd. I am finding that the iPad is not as intuitive as I hoped it would be.
Your iPad is picking upmthe location of someone else's wifi router.
The iPad uses the Apple location database which is updated via the iPhone or 3G iPads.
