I need some help.I am already connected to a wifi on my i-pad but when i try to open up google or other mail,it says u are not connected to a n internet.I have tried rebooting my home internet and the i-pad but the result is the same.tks

Do you see the WiFi symbol in your iPads title bar?
Are you sure that your router is connected to the internet (eg. does your computers internet work?)

I have done all these-roboot my modem at home,reboot my i-pad to factory settings,my home computer works fine except the i-pad.what's next????
Well I actually have no clue if you've done everything on that list.
What I would do is:
I would log into my router and check whether my iPad is connected or not. If yes, it MUST work or sth. is wrong with your router settings.
Or maybe, are you using VPN? Don't forget about that if you do.
If you have already tried any of these - just skip them. It is also possible that your router could need a firmware update so you could check that as well.
Go to settings>WiFi>Turn it off and then turn it on again.
Go to Settings>WiFi>Tap the blue arrow to the right of your network name>Forget this Network. Restart your iPad and see if you can join the network. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings. Restart the iPad and try to join again.
Go to Settings>WiFi>Tap the blue arrow next to your network name>Renew Lease. Restart the iPad and try to connect again.
This one is really an old one and I don't know if it still applies. Adjust the auto brightness on your iPad - Go To Settings>Brightness and Wallpaper - turn it off. See if you can connect.
People have different descriptions of rebooting but if you haven tried this - give it a shot. Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
i have done all u have suggested but it still doesnt connect.i am not using vpn i checked that also.what to do next.my home computer works fine
If you haven't done so you may want to update the iPad iOS to the most current versions which is 4.3.5. If you are not sure which versions you have go to Settings>General>About>Version.
