Uninterrupted launchd errors in Console

Bonjour,

I have recently removed a cisco vpn client but I keep getting (1 every 10 seconds forever) the following errors in Console :

03/10/11 12:51:25 com.apple.launchd[1] (com.cisco.anyconnect.vpnagentd) Throttling respawn: Will start in 10 seconds

03/10/11 12:51:35 com.apple.launchd[1] (com.cisco.anyconnect.vpnagentd[4547]) posix_spawn("/opt/cisco/vpn/bin/vpnagentd", ...): No such file or directory

03/10/11 12:51:35 com.apple.launchd[1] (com.cisco.anyconnect.vpnagentd[4547]) Exited with exit code: 1

I've been looking into LaunchAgents and LaunchDaemons in the various Library/ but I did not find anything related to "cisco" or "anyconnect".

How can I remove this launchd error/problem ???

Merci !

Bonjour (on se connait ?),

In fact, the solution given in your link is equivalent to run the vpn_uninstall mentionned by "Linc" ... Too bad

Merci quand même !

Je ne crois pas ! :-)

Anyways, have you tried to do all this in Single-User mode, then reboot in verbose and see if your old VPN friend still appears on startup? I had the same problem with VirtualBox at one time, and though I'd completely uninstalled it, some kexts would still launch on startup, and take their own sweet time doing so... I had to hunt all the bits and pieces VB had left on my hard drive before I was finally rid of it.

Try this: http://coreygilmore.com/blog/2008/12/31/manually-removing-cisco-vpn-on-os-x/

I tried what you suggested ... without success.

When I run the "vpn_uninstall" (single user or not), at one point it looks for the VPN GUI and asks for its location.

But the VPN GUI is not there, of course, since I uninstalled the whole app.

And then, I get a "Unable to find VPN GUI ..." and the uninstaller stops (cleanly).

Maybe I should re-install this VPN client ... and then uninstall it :-)

Anyway, merci encore pour l'aide et bonne journée !!!
