I'm running the 10.0.1 version and for some reason I am unable to drag and drop media and transitions. It will occasionally work if I restart FCPX, but for the most part I am unable to move anything around. Anyone else run into this yet?

Gregory, I've never experienced this....! Have you tried trashing Preferences and then repairing your disk permissions?
Thanks for the tip...I have reset my .plist and we will see what happens. I don't have a lot of faith in this option, but so far so good. I'll report back in a day or to let you know if I have some improved stability.
Have you tried to just double click an effect in the effect browser ? I guess you have marked the clip.
Yes, does nothing for me. I'm find the issue to show itself when after I try to overlay a transition and it gives me a message that there is not enough media or something like that.
You don't have enough handle to create the overlap. If you switch your transitions preferences to full overlap you won't get that message, your project will get shorter though.
This doesn't make sense to me though since the two clips I'm trying to transition are 40 minutes long and 15 minutes long...respectively.
Thanks Tom...that seems helpful, but unfortunately doesn't answer my original issue of why after doing this I cannot do any more dragging or dropping in FCPx...even in other projects.
Ca't help. I don't think I ever drag and drop transitions. Select the edit point, double click the transition.

I open my photos & Image drive (external), one a folder and start to move images around and into folders and when the image hits the top or side of the window it stops and I end up opening a second window in the same drive just to move a image into it correct folder - it's a real pain and it's starting to really bug me! It got to be some kind of bug!
Found any corrections yet?
