itunes tv episode purchase not showing up in cloud

My wife just purchased a TV episode on her laptop (associated with my ID). I went to download it to my ipad so I can also watch it on my commute, but it doesn't show up in the cloud. I checked the purchase history and all it shows is "Not Available", by artist "Not Available" for $1.99. Any ideas? Has anyone else ran into this problem?

I am having the same issue. I emailed and called Apple tech support with NO HELP from iTunes support yet. I am writing another e-mail with pictures in the hopes that someone will understand the problem.

They have already tried allowing me to re-download it, and, like you Tom, I have had no luck. The videos still do not appear in my iTunes account. On top of that, the Walking Dead video I bought isn't appearing at all, yet it downloaded and I have the receipt in my e-mail.

The problem that came up today...

I bought the second season of Walking Dead. I figured what could it hurt. Big mistake. After I bought the season pass, I went to watch it on my Apple TV, and none of it showed in my purchased list there. It downloaded to my Mac just fine, but also didn't show in my iTunes "purchased" list.

This is really getting frustrated. I didn't buy the new Apple TV to constantly stream shows from my laptop. I bought it because Apple enabled the cloud downloads. That is what sold me on it. Also, my iPad and iPhone have to access to the new content either.

This needs fixed soon.

Bombarding iTunes Support with emails is the only answer for now. Make this issue known and explain yourself clearly as English is not a strong suit of some of the reps l've encountered as of late. You will probably get some generic or off topic responses at first, which is what I experienced. So I sent some very blunt replies and asked to speak to supervisors. So far all they've offered is credits and downloads to my iTunes (the easy pre-iCloud fix). They don't seem to have any sort of grasp on how the "Purchased" sections works in iTunes and on the AppleTv. I had to explain what the little cloud icon meant next to shows on the AppleTv to one of them. It's very troubling that they're so unprepared and poorly trained but if they keep getting complaints on the same issue then something will eventually be done about it. I hope...

I'm having similar issues - I bought season pass for season 2 of the Walking Dead via my iPad. It downloaded fine to my ipad and synced over to my iMac with no problem however it will not show up in the cloud. The same night I purched season pass for new Sons of Anarchy via my iMac and it showed up on the icloud right away. So far music and apps have showed up in icloud with no problem regardless of what device I purchase from. I dunno but hope they figure it out soon.

Add me to the list. Frustrating, because this had been working so well and now I am crazy irritated. If I buy via Apple TV, it seems to show up everywhere, but if I buy from my MAC or if a Season Pass downloads a current episode, it makes it to iTunes on my MAC, but not to the Cloud and, therefore, not to Apple TV. Even more furstrating, because the Apple TV keeps giving me the notification that I have already purchased the episode ... there is just no way to watch it!

same here. I bought new TV episodes recently. AppleTV2 allows me to watch them but I can't find them in my purchased list. I e-mailed customer services, but they didn't really reply my question. Instead, they offered me to download the tv episodes on iTunes again. The only problem is...I don't want to download them. I just want to watch them directly on my appleTV via their cloud-based service. This way I won't have to have my computer with iTunes' home sharing service on all the time.

Another thing... If I buy old tv episodes, they go straight into the cloud. Why not new ones?

As I feared after reading some of these other posts..the Season Passes that I purchased via my Apple TV aren't showing up on my purchased page or in my cloud. So now I have 10 season passes that I can't watch any recent episodes as of a couple of days ago unless I purchased them on my PC and then I can only watched them via my shared network not via cloud on my Apple TV.

This is all getting very frustrating.

I just purchased a season pass to the Walking Dead. Maybe I am a glutton for punishment, but I bought it through iTunes thinking that maybe this whole thing was a hiccup from the iCloud activation. Well, it wasn't. The episodes downloaded just fine, but, again, don't show in my "purchased" list. I had to stream it from my MacBook Air. Not something I want to do since I bought the Apple TV 2.0.

I continually write tech support, but I keep getting the run around from the iTunes Store support. And, of course, they don't have a direct line to call.

I will give them a couple more chances, then I am sending an email to Apple Corporate. This is ridiculous!

I am still waiting for a response to my last email. I demanded that someone call me. I know it probably won't happen, but I am trying. I hope BillKell (above) is right and iTunes match will solve some problems.

The whole situation is odd though. I am able to get all my apps and music without a problem. It is just the TV shows that, for me, are not appearing in my iTunes "purchased".
