Safari opens to last visited site, not Home page
Even after I fully quit safari, it will open to the last visited site, not the page that I have designated as my "Home" page. This started after I installed Lion.

It's the resume feature in Lion. You will have to "Quit" Safari and then next time it opens it will go Home.
Actually, I do quit it completely and then log out. It still opens to the site I was on before doing all of that.
As long as you quit safari and then go back into it it should go Home. If it doesn't you have a deeper problem. Have an apple store nearby?
Actually spent time with Apple on the phone and they suggested that I remove Safari and then re-install it. The problem is that I can't move Safari to the Trash. It says that I can't do that because OS X needs Safari. So they were not that helpful. Just looking to see if anyone else has similar issue.
Only similar issues were from closing the safari window but not quiting. Wish I could be of more assitance 😕
You are closing the window AND quiting the program correct?
Well, I don't usually close the window, but I definitely QUIT Safari. Thanks for your help anyway.
If you quit safari with windowws open you activate the resume feature to go back where you left off. if you close all the windows and then quit you will not activate resume.
OK. I will try that when I get home. Seems silly that you have to close the windows before quitting. Thanks for your help. I will post my results.
It is VERY silly for some and a godsend to others. sorry for not being clear with my previous posts 😝
I personally like the feature most of the time... 😉
Like the other guy in that referred thread, it did not take right away, but all is well now. Thanks for the help.
