My iMac plug in keyboard is typing multiple letters at a time. For example, when I type "L", it comes up: "LLLL". Needless to say, we can't even log on to the computer and therefore I can't even use our back up wireless keyboard. Is there a way to do a hard reset on the keyboard? Or is it just doomed?

How old is the keyboard (which Mac model)? Is it every key that repeats or just one section of the keyboard? I assume it just started this? Any changes, software installed? No offense but is it dirty - anything spilled, trash in it?
Sounds like the keyboard may have bit the dust. Do you have access to any USB keyboards? (Mac or Windows layout)
A windows keyboard will work to let you get the wireless one setup.
Nah, its definitely not the dirt because it is kept relatively clean. However, it may be (bitten) the dust (ha!). All the keys are typing multiple letters - including the "delete" button. If there are any fixes, great, but if not; my plan is to hunt down one to borrow and get the wireless one installed. Thanks guys!
