hi i just reacently got an ipod touch 4th gen and i noticed that after i had pluged it in to charge the plastic thing holding the prongs and been ripped out (lousy charger) and now the prongs have been bent inwards what can i do to fix this and if im still under warenty will they fix it? and can i still charge it just holding the charger up to it?

I really can't tell antything from the photo. I would make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store or call Applecare under yur warranty.
ok but ill try and explain it to u the plastic thing that holds up the prongs it gone and those gold prongs are all bent down
I wouud try to get the iPod replaced under your warranty.
apperently it was denied they say and outisde force did it how much would think it would cost to get this fixed basicaly the charging port is gone
You can try contacting a third-party place like this one. They do not list dock-connector replacement as an specific repair.
