I was required to update the Widget which I use to monitor stock prices. The new version has fonts that are significantly smaller then the previous version.

This makes the widget nearly unusable. Fonts need to be at least as large as the size of the day of the week in the apple weather widget.

I have sent feedback to the developer [Fidelity.com] but is there a hack I can use to enlarge the font in a widget?

Just a guess -- look in the widget's bundle for a file which ends with .js (javascript file).  It's a text file.  Perhaps you can find something in there.

To get into a bundle control-click (or right-click) on the widget icon in the finder.  In the contextual menu that pops up select "Show Package Contents".

Look around in the bundle for other possible candidate files.

You guys are awesome!  Here I am 3.5 years later, with the same complaint, have never hacked a widget, and it worked!  Turns a crappy widget into a terrific one.  Took me a while to realize I could search for the word "font" using text edit to save myself a lot of manual scanning.

    Thank you both!
