One touch Bluetooth on/off app?

Because Apple would have to write it, as app developers are not give access to low level iOS functions. But why do you need it? Why not just leave BT on all the time?

You may not what to leave blue tooth on for many reason! One being just battery drain as it would always be searching and two the could be a sercurity rick of allowing an outside connection. Although not a common this could be done!

When I had hacked my phone way back when that was one of the apps written and that along with other quick switches were very nice. As most of the reason I hack phone are now offered on my iphone I no long try to hack. I would not be surpriced if this becomes a service in the future.

Battery drain is a non-issue. BT uses 3 mw. WiFi uses 30, 3G uses 50 - 600. So there's no point in turning off BT to save battery. And the iPhone does not sopport any connection profiles that could compromise the phone.
