Why is apple products such fragile & creates so much problems for users?

I would take it into your local Apple Store/Genius Bar and see what they can do for you. You'll more than likely need to have the screen replaced. Apple will charge for you a flat fee to do this, but you can find 3rd party repair companies who will do it for much less.
