Is there a way to put my Macbook Pro into airplane mode?
I am flying tomorrow and I've never brought a computer with me on a plane...is there a way to switch my computer to an airplane mode, like my iPhone does??
MacBook Pro, iOS 4.3.3

Well, a laptop doesn't have the same communnication possibilities the iPhone does. A Macbook does not have Airplane Mode. You can turn off the Wifi (Airport Card) and Bluetooth, but I don't think the airlines require that. You should be able to use the laptop without an issue.
Do you use Bluetooth with your MBP regularly - you always have Bluetooth on?
If so, turn Bluetooth and Wi-Fi off being able to turn both off and on via the menu bar.
If you don't use Bluetooth - it is already off, all you need to do is turn Wi-Fi off.
Last time I flew, they said, "shut off all your electronics now." and left it at that.
When you take off and land they say that. They will usually come back on and say it is now safe to use devices...
