Dear Mac-freaks.
My question is about to convert files from the extension mp3webarchive to mp3.
I tried the program Switch, but it does not recognize webarchive files. Maybe there is an other program, but I couldn't find it.
For some years I work with Audacity (shortly also on my Mac) to change the audio-files, but also Audacity does not accept
the webarchive-files.
Can someone help me please.

if Safari created the files - they're likely very small (~ 500 bytes) & contain just a reference to the mp3 file... either on the web somewhere, or locally on your mac.
If the .webarchive opens in safari, use Safari-Window-Activity (command-option-A) to see exactly where the file is located & Option-Double click it to download.
I wanted to do the same thing. I tried the Safari-Activity route as suggested but found it fiddly, and in my case my wireless broadband connection dropped back to WCDMA whenever I tried it! Don't know why that happened. Out of curiosity I just tried Firefox to see what it did. It actually downloaded the file as an MP3 simply using File>Save Page As... It was a very fast download and then I was able to add the file to iTunes with no problems. I have tried a few more files and it is working well.
