I have downloaded several singles albums from one artist. They show up in my library as single items each under a different album. I would like to streamline this to show all these singles items under one album. How can I do this?

Just make a playlist, then copy all of the songs into the list.

Generally all you need to do is fill in an appropriate Album Artist. For more details see my article on Grouping Tracks Into Albums, in particular the topic One album, too many covers.
