How to make Apple Remote Work Again With Lion

As soon as I upgraded to lion my apple remote became little better than useless. Keynote was my main problem as I use it for presentations.

This is how I made it work again, for anyone who is haveing the same trouble.

If you get hold of a great little app called 'better touch tools' it has a section in it's preferences for customising apple remote functions.

All you have to do is set the relevant keyboard function or click to the correct remote button.

I've set mine up as follows, though you can, of course, do what you want with it. 🙂

Play button - Left click

Centre button - also Left Click

Right button - Right Arrow

Left Button - Left Arrow

Up Button and down for volume (Globaly so it works on anything)
