Can't import Address Book

Hi all,

I have a brand new iMac.

The Address Book folder which I copied from my old iMac is on the desktop.

How do I import the Old Address Book into my New iMac.

When I open the Lion Address Book > File > Import, everything in the Old Address Book is gray and not selectable.

Is there a way to import my Old Address Book into my New iMac?

Have you tried opening the AddressBook-V22 file from your old address book folder? I have always exported my address book then imported it in.

Try opening the V22 file by double clicking on it.

Hi keg,

Thanks.

I double-clicked on the AddressBook-v22.abcddb file but got the message, "No importable cards were found."

I am accessing the file through User>Library>Application Support>AddressBook.

I can go through my old e-mails and just make new cards; I really don't have that many contacts...

As in the past, just replace the New AddressBook Folder (hidden by Lion) with the Old AddressBook folder copied from the previous operating system.

I tried this and when I open Address Book there isn't anything. It's blank
