Unable to install iWork 09 after upgrading to OS X Lion

Since upgrading to OS X Lion I've had issues trying to install software using discs. Now I can't istall iWork 09 from the install disc. It just sits in the superdrive and won't eject. My Macbook will accept all other media accept for some software meant for Leopard on disc. So what can I do to get my software onto my Macbook short of downgrading back to Snow Leopard then upgrading back up to Lion?
