Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

Siri in Iphone 4S: can it be used by english-speakers anywhere?

Can see no technical problems using Siri to perform tasks, especially internal ones, in a non-USA/Canada/Australia/UK networks.

Will this be possible immediately upon purchase here in Sweden?

If Siri currently goes beyond simple imperative sentences, "Open web"; and handles complex commands with many arguments or

constraints is of no importance as regard to the network. This is true with the constraint that there is a corresponding function on which

the command can be mapped as to arguments, parameters, and constraints.

So use in different networks would be OK. Of course some nets have restraints as to which facilities are offered. So for example if camp-on is

not available, then repeated try method can be used instead.

Hoping for reply to my primary question.

Be glad that the Swedish Apple Store had one. I visited the shop on Götgatan in Stockholm,

and they had none and no idea when they would get any.

Have you got Siri to work yet? It's gone 2 weeks now.

The shop said it would be enabled here in English, but salesmen say whatever to keep the customer happy.

After over a month without access to Help function on Itunes 10.5, they made 10.5.1 available which is OK on that now.

Sure takes them a long time to get their stuff in order. No good idea being an early adopter of new items from Apple.
