If I bought a memory card adapter for my iPad could I import videos from the memory card onto imovie!!!!

iMovie is really made for movies shot from an IOS device. If the clips you have are compatible you could always try

Yes you can.

You can shoot on an iphone or other ipad and connect it via the camera adapter.

As above, other formats 'might' be able to be edited.

But they will have to be in the same format as the iPad and iPhone shoot.
