Print pdf get blank page

Can't figure this out, when I go to print a pdf. document I get blank pages. My ink levels are good. I thought maybe the pdf. document I wanted to print was protected so I tried to print from a pdf. that I know is Not protected and that came out blank also. Find nothing in the 'help' topics on the computer.
