I was having a problem like this, Eventually, after a couple of weeks, all that stopped.

your also saw GPU debug messages dumped in the kernel.log ?

This has been more than a couple of weeks.. only a couple of days after LION was installed, and randomly ever since..  No Faith in using this machine..

Sadly Lion 10.7.2 does not fix the issue

However, I noticed something about the timing.  Under 10.7.1, because others had indicated it was a wake from sleep issue,  I wanted to see if that was resolved, so I set sleep from never to 30 minutes.

The error occurs almost exactly 30 minutes after I woke the unit up this morning by pressing the mouse.  I now thinking that the sleep mode was trying to kick in on some part of the system. Even though I was actively using the system at the time.

Again just like every other time, the mouse still moves, but there is no response to keyboard/mouse,  no crash log, just pages of GPU debug info in the kernel log up to the reboot.

Strange, I tested tonight and if I only left it sitting for 10-15 min, the wake up worked normal. I recall that I was away from my machine for at least 1 hour, when I put my son to bed. When I came in, it was frozen solid.

I have everything UP dated... on my IMAC.. and I mean everything. Running 10.7.2

My screen was completly black and nothing came on, the machine was unresonsive, completely. Powered off to reboot again.

Seems the com.paceap may be related to some Pace Anti-Privacy,  if that is the case you may want to check their website for the upadte ... seems there may be a version 5.8  http://www.paceap.com/support/support.html (Make sure this is the correct driver for your situation).

Seems like an issue getting control of your multitouch pointing device -- tracepad or mouse..   If you have a cell phone (ex iphone) plugged in nearby move it further away from the computer.  You may have some "radio" interference on the bluetooth channel..

That must be the new Reason 6 USB piracy dongle I just installed - they had me use a specific driver that works with OSX LION ...I had to use a specific kernal driver for it to work. I wonder if that's causing it. If so, that's great as this is the only driver that works and lets me use my REason software.

Anyone else having this issue running REASON 6 by Propellorhead? with the USB Dongle for Piracy reasons.

    Thanks

    Rob
