SMU Reset on Rev A iMac G5

I have an iMac G5 Rev A that has fan noise issues (fan runs at >5000 rpms all the time). I have read the technical note on reseting the SMU for iMacs with Ambient Light Sensor - which mine does not have. Anyone know how to reset the SMU on a Rev A iMac?

iMac G5 Rev A Mac OS X (10.4.4)

I was checking and saw a post that said you had to press a reset button on the logic board. I will look for a diagram.

Thanks very much. I will attempt to reset the SMU and hopefully this will solve the fan noise problem.
