connecting G4 Cube to 20" Apple cinema Display
I have a standard 450 mhz G4 Cube
No alterations except extra RAM
Recently purchased a 20" Apple cinema Display (new) as CRT died
I was advised that I only need a DR Bott ADC - DVI Extractor ii to connect
However when starting up the screen turns itself off,
after the initial grey screen with apple logo has been running for 20 seconds.
Is the cable compatible with what I want it to do?
Is the graphics card not able to cope?
(ATY,Rage128Pro: Bus:AGP Slot:AGP0 VRAM (Total):16 MB)
And if so any pointers to companies that can install adapted cards in UK?
Or am I missing something really obvious?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
