It's simple.

The App Store.app can see ALL the Apps on ALL the drives connected to your MAc, and will list any updates to them, regardless of the account used to buy them.


It askes you so, since that app has been bought with that AppleID, and you are currently logged in with another AppleID.


Log out, and back in with the mentioned AppleID.
