Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

G4 works but can't boot!

An old G4 (mirror front, single drive) after an attempt for restarting as for ejecting a CD (which was later ejected using the mouse) can'tboot. The HD is working, the start up sound is audible and then the sound of the machine too but the screen remains blank and of course any commands from the keyboard are ignored. If not anything else I have to make it work once again as for getting a lot of work and stuff I have in that into my Macbook. Any help or even just ideas will be most appreciated, thanks in advance!

We're not going to be a lot of help on this forum I'm afraid, this forum is for Intel Based iMacs. As you probably know the G4 is PPC (Power PC) based machine. Howevever if the G4 has a firewire connection and the MB has a Firewire connection then you can connect the two via Target Disk mode. Here is an Apple Newsletter describing how:
