You've read the whole 1000+ page manual in less than 7 hours? No wonder you overlooked some details. Read it again, and this time place markers on sections that you might find relevant. Hayz.
Hi,
You can simply create markers in Logic Pro.
Step 1 : Go to top left corner of your arrange area and click on the disclosure triangle right next to Global Tracks...
Step 2 : You'll find few options under global tracks. click on the disclosure triangle right next to markers.

Step 3: Here you'll find options to create markers in your arrange area.
To Create a marker at playhead cursor position >>just locate your playhead cursor to desired location and click on "create"...it creates a marker starting from that playhead position till the end of your arrangement...You could simply double click on that marker and rename it as you want
Similarly you could simply add more markers...Just locate your play head cursor to desired location and click create...
If you select a region and click on "From Regions">> It will create a marker of exactly the same length as the selected region and It would also rename the marker same as the selected region.
Let me know If you're getting stuck any where...
Regards,
Deepak
