Q: Delete Photostream Photos off iCloud

On my ipad i love to take pictures and i also like that they get streamed to all devices! I'm just missing the delete button! I can't delete any of the photos that are streamed! Is there any way this is possible? It would mean  deleting the photo off the icloud server which most likely requires some utility! I just want to get rid off some photos i take!

That's really a joke, I try to sync my photo from iphoto to my i devices, it doesn't work and the itunes always keep "not respones", so, that's only way i upload my photo to my any i devices via photostream, that's totally foolish way........ how can I make the photo folder? how can I rearrange the photos? how can I delete my unwants picture?

should I have a well well plan before run photostream?

    Thanks!

It is kind of annoying but at least i got all the unwanted photos off of icloud! I took a picture of my boss before i was aware that i can't just go and delete it! Oh well! Problem solved so thanks again! It also bugs me that icloud control panel is not available for windows xp!!

Just turn Photo Stream off....take your pictures....purge the ones you do no want (in iPhoto or whatever)...and when you are satisfied...then turn Photo Stream on and push your edited photos to your other devices.

That works for me :-) But it would be nice to be able to select individual photos to delete.

Well, I have Win 7 but I recently bought new version of Office (Home without MS Outlook)  so I'm out of luck to. I have no intention of buying Outlook separately for home when the Home Office version does all we want.  We haven't wanted or needed Outlook for our home, laptop before.  But you have to have it to use Icloud backup mail, calendars, contacts on Windows.  So much for that.  I've been using Gmail and Readdle app on Ipad to sync and backup calendar for year and a half, have contacts in Google beta contacts "in case" and of course they are already on laptop and PC.  Makes one consider a Mac seriously LOL.

"Now, if I could only find a way to migrate everything under the Mobile Me address I want to move to iCloud and nuke my old Hotmail based ID and consolidate accounts...winner winner, chicken dinner."

Photo Stream is not a permanent storage. It is simply intended to push photos between devices. Only the most recent 1000 photos are there and photos are de

    Eyed after 30 days.

You should use your computer as the main library.

Yes, Apple is NOT addressing this issue.  I'm having the same problem. 313786_2324257039436_1639946604_2301343_748862925_n.jpg

I, too, read that icloud.com is not available in XP, but I can get to it on my XP computer and reset my photostream, in other words, empty it. Maybe there are some limitations to what you can do at icloud.com, but resetting photostream is not one of them. I am running XP SP2 which I also thought could be an issue, but is not.

Sorry the reply did not "nest" under the question about XP.  My answer is in reference to the question about not being able to access iCloud on that older OS. Don't known what to do about server being down.
