Hi again Kimo,

Did you run the Flash uninstaller first?

You should first uninstall any previous version of Flash Player, using the uninstaller from here (make sure you use the correct one!):

Yes, is this what you already tried though?

Download this if you haven't...

http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/installers/archive/fp10.1.102.6 4_and_9.0.289.0archive.zip

Once downloaded if it doesn't unzip automatically the double click on that file.

Look for the fp10.1.102.64_and_9.0.289.0archive folder, open it, look for the Flash Player 10.1.102.64 folder & open and look for 101r10264 folder & open it, double click on the flashplayer101r102_64_ubmac.dmg file, choose the Install Adobe Flash Player file to install... they don't make it easy!

Or I put up the smaller ones here...

Stand alone player...

I guess the best version is 10.1, is that right ?!

Yep, 10.1.102.64 is the absolute latest for our PPC Macs.

See in each Browser which version of Flash it thinks it has...

http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/155/tn_15507.html

Then Test Adobe Shockwave & Flash Players...

Look in this folder...

/Library/Internet Plug-Ins/

Do you have these 2 files, if so what is the date on them & the permissions?

Flash Player.plugin

flashplayer.xpt

Do you mean the Stand Alone Player, or that flash displays in the Browser on some sites?

PowerPC is dead and both unsupported by Apple as well as by Adobe , get over it .

What will you do with your outdated internet plugins ? They are insecure and technically behind. Flash is at version 11 as we speak. No doubt next year it will be v 12 - so in a foreseeable time you will not be able to use flash at all. Same goes for Java , Browsers and all other software. Then your PowerPC is good for nothing, except to use offline old apps.

Some sites may require a newer version of Flash, which leaves us out of the picture. To use a stand alone layer you need to be abe to download the Flash file...

Then you can use Glash Player in Applications, or the free 3rd party...
