Auto hide taskbar not working with iTunes 10.5 & Windows 7

Pretty cool. I just got an iTunes update to 10.5.1.42. I'm sure the maximize bug is fixed.....wait....oh, it's not.

I really like my iPod, but think it's ridiculous that apple relies on it's user community to come up with solutions for software issues.

I echo this too. Apple, fix this problem !

BTW, this business of un-maximizing iTunes then stretching it is a nonsense. Even when you shrink the iTunes window, you still cannot see the Taskbar.

Same problem here. 64-bit Win 7 Pro. Been happening for awhile. Task bar works with everything else I use.

I'm noticing this is one of the most heavily commented posts within the Apple online community, particularly when you add up this and the at least five other strings. Is Apple uncommited to fixing this problem - suggesting they aren't interested in our concerns? Has anyone thought to ask Siri either a) if she knows how to fix it or b) the timeline for Apple to fix it? Perhaps she knows - I would ask but don't have her/4s.

Still broken. This is really starting to irritate me....... can't believe a patch hasn't been released yet.

This is close to two months, at least two updates and many massively commented on posts with no fix!

I wouldn't think it would be that tough a fix, in theory. I mean, I'm definitely not a computer programmer, but since the problem didn't exist in earlier versions of iTunes, it's obviously something about the new version that's causing the problem, right? Since it only happens with iTunes and no other program I use, including other media programs, I doubt it's a problem with some third-party application interfering with iTunes in some way.

I've gotten used to using Alt+Tab to switch windows, but it can be a pain when I only have my right hand and can't reach the tab key easily. It would be really nice to be able to change windows in those situations without minimizing iTunes! Please, can you fix this?

Thedoc247 I also use this temporary fix on Win 7 64bit: Manually adjust the window size so it looks like it's maximized.

Even if you were a computer programmer, it would be very hard to figure out what's going on without seeing the source code!

I am having the same problem. I feel like this is not a priority for apple at all, because it is a windows issue. I'm switching to Foobar from now on.

I thought the latest version of iTunes would surely fix this problem... but I'm still experiencing it.

I'm actually considering switching to another music player if they don't get this fixed. That seems extreme but it's really an irritating bug.

10.5.2.11 hasn't fixed it, either.
