How do I change downloaded raw images to jpeg?

iPhoto, Preview, Aperture and many others will convert RAW images.

No, the format of the file shouldn't be interfering with burning them to a CD. How are you creating the CD?

Sorry can;t answer this one.

I shoot in RAW on a Panasonic. Iphoto should make a JPEG copy of the RAW image (i dont recall changing settings in iphoto preferences). Search a recently imported RAW image via finder and see if there is a JPEG copy. You should see 2 files, one with RAW extension, one with JPEG extension, both same photo.

You should also be able to convert them using applescript and Image Events - that could be done automatically in the background, rather than requiring the use of an app.
