Apple ios 5 update today in Australia

it should be avalible at 2am US time on oct 12 not sure what time zone

I don't really believe that, it would've been enough convincing if it was iPhone 3GS, because of two levels behind, siri is a software not hardware! Adding two handred features but 201 is going to cause a huge problem? Please! iOS 5 is even available for iPhone 3GS!!!!

I don't feel comfortable or even happy!

I guess they just trying their best to "make" which turned out to "force" people to buy iPhone 4S!!!

How do you know it is not both? How do you know Apple needed additional RAM to make it work acceptably? How do you know they have not put firmware within the A5 chip to assist with Siri?

I don't know but it's pretty much obvious that publishing new phone for two major upgrades only that covers photographer is not enough! So add an interactive commonly major upgrade will be enough, I just see it from their profit side, I still believe after all; apple is better than that and I hope...

And they said in keynote: A5 core processor chip is designed specially for gaming in their keynote not Siri or maybe they did, but I still hope apple is better than that and publishes the Siri software with iOS 5...

I know they said the A5 works well with games but I don't recall them saying it was designed for gamers. They certainly did not say that when the iPad 2 was released. More complex, broad and complicated software often requires faster processors, more RAM, etc. Sounds like the rebuilt Siri is one of those systems. I would not bet money in seeing it on the iPhone 4. But no one here knows for sure.

Nooo, if u are saying this because of me, please don't, Siri was the best one that took my interest and I had myself wanting it more for days thinking it was coming with iOS 5 till I called apple and then got disappointed suddenly just before I firstly post here... Major wish fallen apart because I always loved the voice recognition features that on computers and phones...

I remember when I watched the keynote and when they started introducing a5 core chip, they focused and spoke a lot about games :-)

I remember siri was the last thing they spoke about but I don't remember them mentioning A5 chip with it
