iPhone 4S UK Delivery

Ordered mine same day as you and exactly the same frustration was expecting apple to be earlier rather than later in their deadline, but it does say once changed to preparing for shipment it will come with in 48 hours so it might not change till tomorrow and it will still come in apples estimate so I'll waint till then before complaining to them.

I ordered mine at the same time as you, and I'm in the same boat!

Very frustrating, when you hear that some people in Germany have already received theirs! And some in the US who ordered theirs after us, have got theirs too!

Hope we get an update later today. It doesn't take long for them to be shipped - my iPad 2 only took 2 days from when it was despatched, so we still might get it on Friday or Saturday. Hope so!

Likely depends where it is shipping from. China, Europe or better still the UK. Does anyone know for sure?

I ordered mine at 9.00am on the 7th and still the same as you and the money has gone back into my bank, has this happened to anyone else?

I think that Apple only take your money once the item has actually shipped, so perhaps they took the money too early and have refunded it.

I've checked my credit card situation and it seems that the money for my iPhone 4s has been 'put to one side' ready for when the request for funds is made, but the transaction doesn't actually show yet on my account.

Money hasn't come off my credit card yet, but can see there is a pending charge for the phone and my credit limit has been reduced by the amount. This is normally how credit card companies would work, Apple "reserve" the money in your credit card account so they know you have enough, but the actual charge will go through when the phone ships.

Let's hope they take the money soon!!! LOL

I wouldn't worry different credit cards hold the money in reserve for varying amounts of time and if the actual charge doesn't come through they release the funds again. I suspect this is what has happened to you, doesn't mean Apple are not sending the iPhone, although I can understand why you are getting twitchy....

I order my phone at around 8:40am on the 7th and mines still say "Processing Items: Dispatched: Ships by Oct 14th"

Same thing has happend with my money. taking it of my card then puting it back on. but i think this is more of a test to see if you have money in ur account. I see hotel do this alot.
