I think my iphone might have crashed. One minute I am listening to music, then the screen goes black and a minute later the chrome apple appears. Now nothing is happening I can't get any response from the buttons and the apple sign comes and goes. Any suggestions?

Hold the HOME and SLEEP buttons until an Apple logo appears (10-14 seconds).
Thanks for the reply, but still no joy. I managed to get itunes to recognise it and tried to restore but then an error comes up 2001, saying unable to restore your iphone.
Error 2001 and similar errors are caused by USB communications problems on your computer. See: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3694#error2009
Thanks just read through this, done what it said about disconnecting all third party usb's. restarted my mac but still get the same error. Think its time for a phone call or visit to the apple shop.
Did you reset the SMC?
No am abit worried about doing this. Will try it though as nothing else is working.
