Feb 9, 2012 8:09 PM in response to cmc39vby brattprez,I am having the same issue. When I go to appleID.apple.com I can only find 1 account. You have to enter a 1st and last name and email address. How can you check if the same email address is being used on anther account? When you click "manage your account" it simply emails you a "reset your password" email. I do not want to reset my passowrd, I want to veryfy it.
Any more ideas?

Feb 18, 2012 9:39 AM in response to cmc39vby jtimberman,I had this problem as well.
I solved it by going into iTunes, accessing the iTunes Store and clicking my account link in the upper right corner. It prompted me to fill out the email form, where my Apple ID is shown, and then I had to fill in my email address.
Once complete, my iPhone, iPad and System Preferences -> iCloud showed the account as verified.
