Enabling Back to My Mac require NAT-PMP but it is missing...

Hello,

I'm trying to enable the Back to My Mac feature and when doing so, I get a warning that BtMM may be slow since NAT-PMP or UPnP is turned off on my router. I have the latest Time Capsule bought this summer and can't seem to find the NAT tab that should be in the Internet section. The only categories listed are "Internet Connection", TCP/IP and DHCP. Searching for NAT in "Find a setting" result in "NAT > Enable NAT Port Mapping Protocol" which is what I want to do, but clicking on it just does nothing.

Am I missing something? Do my Time Capsule really support NAT-PMP?

It seems weird that an Apple product would prevent me from using BtMM.

Thanks

The NAT it is referring to is not in the TC.. it is the main network router.. if the TC is the main network router ie you get public IP onto the WAN interface then you should have no issues with the BtMM. Otherwise you will need to forward the required ports there. Do not double NAT .. so if the modem you have is also working as a router make sure the TC is in bridge mode.
