How do you enable location-based reminders in iOS 5 on iPad 2? I saw in iOS 5 feature list but not in the reminder area on my device...
I have the same problem.. I have a Verizon iPad 2 CDMA 16gb, no location shows up, even though location is turned on. I tried toggling location and I tried rebooting the iPad... still nothing.
I thought it was suppose to sync across devices? If so how can the location part sync if I can't set it up?
Based on what I'm reading only iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S got this feature. No love for iPads or iPhone 3GS. :(
So disappointed that this was not included for my iPad 2 with 3G! Very small thing but it was really a useful new thing for me since my iPad is always with me. A feature that I was really anticipating using....
I agree i am upset. iPad 2 should have the same features as the iphone 4 and 4s, thought that was point. i swear i hate how apple thinks sometimes.
I'm so annoyed, this was the one feature I really wanted for my iPad 2 when I saw what was coming in iOS 5 months ago. It's even more annoying that it doesn't actually state that it's only for iPhone on the features page...
Definitely disappointed. Would have been very useful.

It clearly mentions all iOS 5 devices and location based reminders. Come on Apple, I was really looking forward to this on my 64gb, 3G GSM iPad 2!!

In some ways I'm glad I am not the only one who was baffled as to why my iPad 2 (Wi-Fi GPS) reminders would not give me the option to notify me based on location/ If indeed this is not going to be supported on the iPad 2, this is a SERIOUS oversight and needs to be corrected.
Very disappointed here. I also was excited when I heard about this feature coming out with the iOS5 version. Apple, please add this feature to the iPad2 for goodness sake!

Thanks. Will do. But I lay odds Apple has someone reading these posts. I wasn't really asking them in my post. More of a vent. You better believe they have folks cruising these forums.
You can enable it if you buy Omnifocus (great App); that has location based reminders (that sync with my iPhone4S) so there is no logical reason why Apple omitted it!
This feature came in iOS 5 beta for iPad... Not sure why they took it out.

Probably for the same reason the took out the mutitasking gestures for the iPad 1.
