I've opened IPhoto 9.2 and had it crash several times after updating from Mac OS X 7.2 when trying to enable Photo Stream for ICloud. I sent about 10 crash reports to Apple. Anyone else having issues?

Same here. Photo Stream crashed it every time it tried to import a pic from my iPad. Turned photostream off and it managed to launch, but still can't import a pic without crashing even over a cable.
I found there is a 3rd party plugin in the libary\quicktime folder called 3ivx which should be deleted and this should fix it. I found this in another posting.

I've just got off the phone with Apple Support and they agree that it is a bug and that I should report it to apple.com/feedback
Essentially iPhoto 9.2 (626) beachballs then crashes without error while photostreaming is turned on. Consistentiy.

I rang my local Apple store but the young man i spoke to just said leave it for 24hrs and see what happens.....it may settle down!!!.
I done as you said , went into Finder...typed in 3ivx found it and deleated it ....BINGO......problem solved.........Thanks again.
Yep. Removed 3ivx component in \Library\QuickTime, and now works!

This crash is affecting me as well. Sent a bunch of crash reports to Apple. I looked in /Library/Quicktime and /System/Library/Quicktime and there is no 3ivx file. I uninstalled Flip4Mac just in case but that didnt affect anything. Guess i'll wait...
ok...so to update my original post, i disabled photo stream in the icloud sys prefs on my mac and on the iphone. iphoto 9.2 no longer crashes. guess i'll not use it until i hear of a fix/update...

I did a Spotlight search for 3ivx and it came up with an uninstall program - Uninstall 3ivx. I ran it, and iPhoto works with Photo Stream! Thanks!
+1 - Uninstalling 3ixv fixed the problem with crashing on import. I just hope that 3ixv wasn't important to some other process that I run frequently. Thanks to mkruzel5!
I uninstalled the 3ixv and now iPhoto works perfectly. Soon after that I discovered that the 3ixv file is actually an Evernote file, which now doesn't work on my MacBook. The synched files are still on my iPhone, so I'm guessing I'll still be able to use it there, but obviously can't have it reside on my computer while iCloud is active.
Thank you--uninstalling 3ivx did the trick. By the way, it only affected iPhoto. Aperture worked just fine with Photostream turned on.
The unistaller for 3ivx failed so I moved the foulder to the trash... and that was probably a mistake... now what can i do?
