Had a nightmare installing the IOS5 on my ipod touch 4 and now after upgrading it when i dock into my Bose system it display message "This accessory is not supported by ipod touch'
anyone with this issue?

I just came across the same problem and am scanning for a solution. Just thought I'd drop a note here in case you are still having it.
Use the communities search box in the upper right and search for: Bose. Some other users have reported similar problems after updating to iOS 5.
Have you went to Bose's support site to see if there is a problem with iOS 5?
Since my ipod was under warranty, apple replaced it and i am not facing any issues now. But yes few time i got that message and only resolution that worked for me is to undock and dock it again. Not sure what makes this error message pop-up.
I don't think Bose will be able to help/guide on this issue. I guess its purely to do with apple devices and OS. I have another ipod nano and classic and that works just fine.
