There were a couple of posts here from a user very critical of Apples decision to move newspaper and periodical apps into Newsstand, which were subsequently (apparently) removed b a forum moderator. In the last one, the person posted stated that his first amendment rights were being violated.
I just wanted to point out that none of us "first amendment rights" in a privately-owned forum such as this one. This is Apple's sandbox, and they get to choose which posts are relevant and add to the usefulness of the forum and which are not. A lawyer would tell you the same thing.
The first amendment gives you the right to go out on the street and speak all day against something yu don't like. But it doesn't give you the right to come into my house and do the same thing.
I think it's important tired the tone civil and constructive. Some folks don't like newsstand; I like it but wish I could put in in a folder and access it from there. But I've learned that I can't. Screaming about it here doesn't add to the discussion, in my opinion.
