iCloud not working on 3gs, please help!

Hi, i've just updated my iPhone 3gs to iOS5. All seems to be working fine, apart from iCloud. The Wi-Fi sync and everything else is great.

However, on the settings option, iCloud, Photo Stream, and Twitter are greyed out. The option is still available, but i can't access it. I don't know why, and because of this, any new purchases are not uploaded to iCloud/my computer without syncing. iCloud is installed and working fine on my PC (windows 7), but for some reason it is not working on my 3gs.

Any suggestions on what i can do would be great, thanks.

Try resetting Photo Stream > iCloud: Resetting your Photo Stream

In iTunes / Preferences - Store

Make sure you have Automatic Downloads selected.

I've already allowed automatic downlods on both my phone and windows machine. This is what i see, and the same happens with photo stream under the photos setting.

Have you restrictions turned on? I had a restriction turned on that locked editing mail, contacts and calendars, and that seems to lock iCloud and Twitter as well. Turn restrictions off and those options should enable.

try resetting your device in settings/general/reset ...dont worry all your info will remain as long as you select "reset all settings" and re setup thru icloud all over again...should work like a charm

Thanks guy42, that was the issue on my 3gs and turning off my restriction and then turning it back on corrected the greyed out iCloud and twitter settings.
