Yahoo! email not pushing

Having problems recieving my yahoo email on my iPhone 4 after installing iOs 5. It sends emails (I sent test emails to my other email accounts on my phone and they went through) Just my yahoo email not coming in. I've tried everything I can think of .... help?

I have the same problem. I tried to do everything to fix it, but nothing worked.

I tried to restore my iPhone with iTunes and I couldn't fix the problem.

I called to Apple and they told that this problem probably was caused by the yahoo servers.

Until now i didn't have any solution for this problem. so I think that we just have to wait Apple and Yahoo have to undertand each other to solve this problem.

Yahoo email only updates now when I go into the mail application and check for email, no settings changed.

I am in Australia and I notice this problem before I upgraded to 5.1.1. Now sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I have changed the settings to fetch every 15 minutes and this works at times. I found out that before I changed the settings to fetch every 15 minutes it was on manual but it was working when the problem has not started yet. Now manual doesn't do the job and only if it is set to fetch every 15 minutes. Also my problem is not just with Yahoo mail but also with my ISP provided email address. So I guess it can't just be a problem on Yahoo's end. I also set the Yahoo mail to fetch and it at times does pushes the mail rather than simply fetches. I don't know what's going on.

Another month has gone by since your last email. The issue remains unresolved.


I would like an update on this please. Yahoo! has literally taken months and months on this but still unable to resolve the problem. I have had emails sent back and forth with your colleagues over the course and each time the response is more or less the same -- "Sorry, we will try to fix it as soon as possible; please be patient!" Can someone please explain when can this be resolved for good?
