After I synced my iPad to the cloud, I lost all the apps on my ipad. They are in the cloud. Do I need to reinstall all of them and will I have to repeat that when both devices sync again? I am afraid to do anything with my iPhone.
Make sure Automatic Downloads is selected...

Glad I found this. I now realise I can't use iCloud as my desktop OS isn't high enough. Just wasted an hour fretting over lost apps. Cloud safely deleted and tranquillity restored - I hope!
Update: despite deleting iCloud a/c I still can't get my apps from my iMac to my iPad when syncing. It says it's doing it, but they don't appear - about 10 of them. Help!
