How to set up Notes in transition from MobileMe to iCloud

When I try to turn on the notes syncing in iCloud, it asks me to create a me.com email address. Except, I already have one from MobileMe, don't want to create a new one, and there's no option to enter your current one. Anyone have any suggestions?
