I have my apps arranged in folders. However, I can't seem to get the new Newstand app to go into the appropriate folder; everytime I try, the folder slides away. The other new apps in iOS 5 drop right in to the folders.
Any suggestions?

I think that the Newsstand app is effectively a folder in its own right, so can't be put inside another folder

iBooks app can be put into a folder and so can Zinio. Newsstand is basically like Zinio with iBooks fetures added. So what would stop it?
Read that, but if Newsstand crashes when you try to use it, it isn't worth it. I wanted to see if I could replace Zinio with Newsstand, but it doesn't look like it.
Zinio is an app itself, with files for subscriptions placed inside it. iBooks is also an individual app, with files (different books) inside it. Newstand is a folder for a collection of apps. The interface may be "basically like" the others, but the structure itself is different.
OK, that means that I won't be able to use Newsstand to replace Zinio. Adding Newsstand to the list of dumb-things-Apple-has-done. More and more I'm starting to look at Android devices and PCs.
I'm beginning to feel that Apple is trying to drive me away from using their products after 27 years. 😟

Since Newsstand is a FOLDER, I will just use it to REPLACE my current Periodicals folder!
