Hey,
i have an iPod Touch 4G 8GB running iOS 4.3.3 and i want to update it to iOS 5.0 the update firmware download was complete but when trying to update the iPod i got error 3194 and the update failed.
i have itunes 10.5 running on windows XP (PC)
i checked the USB cable it's connected and no problem with it can anyone help me ?!

i do have iTunes 10.5 which is the latest !!
would it not update if jailbroken ?!
i jailbroke it once but then made a restore and it was fine
nevermind 😀 it was a problem with the hosts file i just configured it and thing worked perfect 😀
i had the same problem. My phone is back to normal now. i just have to sync my music. all i had to do was just switch pc's real quick. if you have the resources, it should work. go to a buddy's house. use his.
