Q: I can't sync Notes to iCloud.

Can anyone help with this?

On my iPad, I can't sync Notes to my iPhone using iCloud.   There isn't 'iCloud' account visible under 'Default Account' in the Notes settings even though it is turned on in the 'iCloud' settings.

All I see is 'On My iPad' for accounts under 'Default Account'.

On my iPhone there is a option in the Notes setting to change the default account to 'iCloud' so I assume those Notes are syncing to the cloud.

Everything else is syncing, photos, calendar, contracts, bookmarks, etc.   Just Notes is messed up.

    How I Fixed The Problem:

Hey, I've been having syncing with iCloud problems for the last few weeks. I currently have an iPhone 4(iOS 7.1.2) and Macbook pro(Yosemite). I really needed to sync these two devices so I could get the same notes on both. I read all the posts online but nothing worked. I honestly tried everything.

My notes were already connected to my iCloud account which I could see if I clicked "accounts" under the notes tab so I don't know why this worked..... but it did!

What worked for me: I basically just re-added my notes to iCloud. I opened notes on my macbook, clicked the "notes" tab at the top and clicked "add account". I then selected "iCloud", put in my apple id, password, etc.... and after I completed the process everything synced immediately!!! again this is just what worked for me, so I felt the need to post this incase anyone was still looking for a solution
