Contacts are gone after upgrade

I just upgraded the software on my iphone 4 and now all of my contacts are gone. The favorites and recents ones are still listed, but the actual contacts tab is completely empty. Any advice?

iPhone 4, iOS 4.3.3

I have the exact same problem, so we all wait for the fix with baited breath (whatever that means). My recent calls, voice mails, and favorites are all still there but my Contacts are gone, as well as gone from the Contacts App. I-Phone 4 )S upgrade. (Verizon- CDMA version)

My favorite and recent contacts are gone too. Also, it take minutes for games to open, where before iOS9 it took a few seconds. If and when Apple fixes this, i'll never download another update again.
